Attitude of Gratitude Journal

by Connie
(NC, USA)

Connie and Son

Connie and Son

I always try and keep an attitude of gratitude and this is my attitude of gratitude journal. I am grateful for my beautiful son on a daily, hourly, minute by minute basis. He is my light.

I am grateful for my job that not only pays me well but is fulfilling, fun and always flexible where my son's schedule and health needs are concerned.

I am grateful that some wonderful person/people invented insulin so my son didn't have to die after being diagnosed with insulin dependent diabetes when he was three years old.

I am grateful that the wonderful man in my life had three children from a previous marriage and now we all make up one BIG happy family. Their smiles fill our house with love and laughter on a daily basis

I am so thankful that my son loves everything about his new extended family and thinks it's great that he get's to 'share' a room.

I am thankful to have a man with one of the biggest hearts on the planet love me. His kindness can not be measured, his selflessness is to be commended.

I am grateful to have a partner that supports my career and my need to build my own business. Who thinks I am the most beautiful girl in the world, his words not mine, and thinks I am a superior mother.

And, right now, at this moment, I am filled with content and gratitude as my seven year old just ran past me and said, "I love you mommy."
