Richard Rohr, one of the great Enneagram teachers of our time says that it is "a mysterious model of the psyche" and that it "probably derives from the Eastern tradition of Sufi wisdom."

He also calls it a mirror of the soul. And like any other mirror, it can be put down and taken up again at an appropriate time. I hope you will find that this is an appropriate time for you to spend some of your time with these teachings.

It can be a fun way to look at your own personality. And you can also take it beyond the fun of it and use it as a serious tool for working with your own personality and those of others.
