What you find here will change you forever if you let it.
Good health is not an accident. It’s a way of life. Your good health is your birthright. It’s who you really are. Oh, sure, some people are born with better genes than others. And some manage to dodge accidents better than others. There’s no denying those things.
But for the most part, your health is in your own hands. And that’s where it belongs.
One of the things it’s difficult for those who practice western medicine to understand is that there are other ways of doing things than what was taught in medical school. And that, many times, those other ways actually work better than what was taught.
Did you know that in western medical schools, the curriculum demands less than 10 hours of study in nutrition? Probably the single most important aspect of keeping healthy and the self-appointed keepers of your health know virtually nothing about it.
Scary!
What’s one of the biggest killers in society today?
Western medical practitioners tell you to avoid it. Well, that’s not too likely to happen. Stress is simply a part of your daily life. You can’t avoid it.
When was the last time you had a western medical practitioner. tell you how to reduce stress in your life in some way that didn’t involve drugs?
And, yet, there are lots of ways available to you to do just that.
When was the last time you had a western medical practitioner tell you how to get rid of your allergies without drugs?
Yet, it’s possible and it’s easy.
Got a migraine? Don’t want to take drugs? Stick with us.
Would you like to reduce arthritis pain? Don’t want any more drugs? Hang around.
In this book, you’ll learn these things. You’ll learn how to take control of your own health. You’ll learn ways to reduce stress in your life without drugs. You’ll learn what good nutrition really means. You’ll find ways to eliminate allergies. Not just control them, eliminate them. You’ll learn how to detoxify your body and just by doing that one thing, how to remove an enormous amount of stress from your system.
Now, don’t get me wrong. We need our western medical practitioners. If I break my leg, you can bet that I’m going to head straight to my M.D. If I get appendicitis, M.D., here I come.
But, here’s the thing. A broken leg or appendicitis is just a bump in the road of good health. It needs to be taken care of immediately. It has no bearing on true good health.
True good health is like the soil in a garden. It’s the element that makes everything else work well. When the soil is healthy, the plants are healthy.
Feed the soil, feed the plants.
Poison the soil, poison the plants.
Using the drugs handed out so freely by some western medical practitioners is like putting poisons in the soil. Pretty soon the soil is filled with those poisons and then the food is filled with those poisons. And then you eat the food and you’re filled with those poisons.
In your body these poisons can show up as things like allergies, migraines, arthritis and cancer - depending on your genetic predisposition. But it’s not just your body that gets poisoned.
Once your body is filled with the poisons then your emotions become poisoned and your mind becomes poisoned. Eventually, you can no longer even feel healthy feelings or think healthy thoughts.
But the important thing here is that this process is reversible. And there really are only a few things necessary to start the reversal process. So let's start to Get Healthy.
How do I fix it?
The first and most important step for you to get healthy is that you begin to realize what’s happening to you.
Next you must believe that you can do something about it.
Then you’ll want to make the commitment to take responsibility for your own health.
The next step would be to begin to eat more healthy foods. And, this step goes hand in hand with the next one. Which is, you begin the process of detoxifying your body. And that will include drinking enough good water and getting some exercise.
But I don’t like the taste of healthy food!
When you first decide to start eating healthy foods, you may find that they don’t taste as good as what you’ve been eating up to now.
And there’s a reason for that.
Your taste buds have a little mind of their own called a set point. They’ve developed expectations over the years. At this point in their little lives, they really like all that salt and sugar and grease. And when they don’t get it, they don’t feel satisfied.
But when you begin to feed them good food, over a period of time they’ll change. They’ll begin to recognize when something has too much salt or sugar in it. They’ll begin to react negatively to the grease, which, just a couple of months ago, tasted good to them.
Pretty soon, those green juices and carrot juices which used to taste like dirt will begin to taste sweet. That's a "get healthy" response from your body.
Pretty soon, your arteries will begin to feel the grease you feed them and will shiver with disgust when you do it again. And that's another "get healthy" response from your body.
And if you’re taking active steps to detoxify your body at the same time you’re feeding it good stuff, the process will happen even faster.
Achieving good health, like achieving bad health, takes some time.
The "get healthy" process is not going to happen overnight.
But I will promise you this.
When you take an unhealthy body and apply the simple principles of good health to it, it’ll get healthy in a lot less time than it took to get unhealthy.
And here’s the reason for that.
The achievement of bad health probably happened quite unconsciously over 30 or 40 or 50 years or more. When you bring your consciousness to achieving good health and do it actively, the process of recovery will be much shorter. And, not only that, your emotions will be healthier and your thought processes will be clearer.
Well, enough lecturing for now. Let’s get on to finding out about the techniques you can use to help yourself get healthy again.
