It seems fairly obvious that the closer you live to the source of wealth, the more wealth will come to you. And it also seems obvious that if you live in gratitude to the source of your wealth you are closer to it than you would be if you never gave it a second thought. The more gratitude you express when good things come to you, the more good things will come and the more quickly they will come. And the reason is simple. This attitude of gratitude draws the mind into closer touch with the all-that-is, the infinite source, the god-stuff from which all things arise.It may be a new thought for you that living in a state of constant gratitude brings you into closer harmony with the all-that-is. But if you think about it, you will come to realize that it is true. You have already had good things come to you because you live in alignment with certain laws. Gratitude will keep your mind in this alignment, will keep you in harmony with creative thought and will keep you from moving back into the realm of competition. By itself, gratitude will keep you tightly connected to the all-that-is and will keep you from falling back into a place of thinking that your supply of anything is limited and to do that would be fatal to what you are now in the process of accomplishing.
Law of Attraction
There is a law of gratitude and it is absolutely necessary that you should observe the law if you are to get the results you seek. The law of gratitude is the natural principle that action and reaction are always equal and in opposite directions.
An outreaching of your mind to the all-that-is in gratitude frees you from having to use force for your achievements. It will reach its target and the immediate response of the target, the all-that-is, is a movement toward you. And if your gratitude is strong and constant, the response of the formless substance will be strong and continuous; the movement of the things you want will always be toward you. You cannot exercise much power without gratitude, for it is gratitude that keeps you connected with power.
Gratitude also serves another purpose in your life. Without it, you would soon drop back into thoughts of dissatisfaction with things the way they are. And the instant you find yourself in this mode of dissatisfaction, you begin to lose ground in your creative process. Once again, your mind starts to become aligned with those things which do not please you and shortly it will be those kinds of things you will begin again to attract to yourself.
When your mind is resting in gratitude, it is resting in one of the highest of vibrations. Therefore your mind becomes more like that vibration and other things which match that vibration will be drawn to you.
Ultimately, faith arises from gratitude. When you live in a constant state of gratitude, you just naturally come to expect good things and soon that expectation becomes faith that those good things will continue to manifest for you. And so every wave of gratitude just increases your faith in the creative process. With no feeling of gratitude, this faith will not develop and without faith you cannot get rich by the creative method.
You must, then, create within yourself the habit of being grateful for EVERY good thing that comes to you and you must give thanks continuously. And because you would not be where you are in this moment were it not for all the things which have happened so far in your life, then it follows that you will want to be grateful for all those things because they’ve brought you to this possibility of now learning how to bring vast riches into your life.
And while you’re living in this state of gratitude, don’t spend much time thinking about the so-called powerful ones in this or any other country. Don’t worry with their shortcomings. The way they organize the world has created opportunity for you. Don’t rail against them because, as a culture, we really do need them or there’d be anarchy all around us and you wouldn’t have nearly the opportunity to get rich in such a condition.
The all-that-is has taken a long time and worked very hard to get us to where we are in the world in terms of our government and our corporations. At the moment, this might not seem like a good thing, but it’s an on-going process. And it’s continuing. The all-that-is is going right on with its work and there is no doubt that those in power who seem to be misusing that power will soon be as dust in the fields. They will simply fall apart and disappear as the dinosaurs did in eons past. In the meantime, these people and institutions are necessary. Remember that they are all helping to create and support the lines of transportation and communication through which your riches will come to you.
